Hi!
I’m Nate Waicunas – writer, investigator, and Virginia Beach native (Damn Yankee at Heart). I come from a working-class background, raised in a world where questioning authority wasn’t encouraged, but surviving it was.
This site was born out of frustration, grief, and clarity.
Frustration with a system that punishes honesty and rewards manipulation.
Grief over the people we’ve lost to lies, silence, and division.
And clarity that I could no longer keep quiet.
I built this space as a sanctuary for truth – a place where investigative journalism, creative writing, and unfiltered human experience collide. You’ll find breakdowns of media spin. You’ll find poetry pulled from trauma. You’ll find anonymous submissions transformed into something personal, meaningful, and healing.
This isn’t about clicks, profit, or followers. It’s about accountability, empathy, and the right to ask better questions.
I sign my name because I believe in standing behind what I say. If that invites scrutiny, good. We should all be more scrutinized – especially the ones making decisions behind closed doors.
I’ve worked in veterinary medicine, studied behavior – animal and human – and I’ve spent years peeling back my own layers to understand why truth feels so dangerous to those in power. I don’t pretend to have every answer. But I know how to see through noise, and I’m not afraid to say what I see.
If you’re here, you’re probably like me:
Curious. Skeptical. Tired of being lied to.
You want something real. You want someone to say what everyone’s been avoiding.
Welcome home.
This is your space, too – use it wisely.
