Nate W. – Founder & Other Stuff
I’m Nate W.
At the time of writing this, I was a full-time veterinary assistant (just three weeks ago). These days, I’m a bit of a hybrid: part journalist, part internet sleuth, and (soon to be?) an ethically-minded content manager. But I’m here for it. I come from a working-class background, and those roots taught me the value of hard work and the importance of giving back to my community. Not long ago, I decided to break away from the mold because I believed in myself enough to build something bold and upfront. I found myself confused why others weren’t seeing a growing, dangerous divide that I could no longer rationalize away — so I dug, and I didn’t stop.
This journey hasn’t been easy or straightforward. For the past ten years, I’ve been digging into the depths of QAnon, religious weaponization, and hate speech — watching as they adapted into the mainstream. It’s the same divisive tactics, just wrapped in barely passable talking points that, if read plainly on paper, would later be seen as hysteria. It’s made me callous to certain topics and patient when it comes to working around rhetoric to ask real questions — even if it’s gotten me banned from the communities that never seem to have real answers. Along the way, I had to dive into the world of internet security (turns out I have a knack for it) to protect my investigative work and make sure this site stays safe and private for everyone who finds their way here. Now I’m ready to explain how I see the world — and I’m grateful that you’re here.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m not shy about speaking my mind. I can be sharp sometimes — but it’s never out of cruelty. It’s out of care. I speak plainly but with intent because I want you to focus on what’s being said, not how I’m feeling while I say it. I’m not here because I want to feel needed or important. I’m here because I know what it feels like to think no one’s left standing. If you’re feeling like there’s no hope right now, just know: you’re not crazy, and you’re not broken. I’m offering some answers, but I’m not asking for blind trust. I’m just keeping the door open – in case you ever want to step through. No rhetoric. No hate. Just real people, trying to remember how — and why — we forgot how to exist together.
